Despite the mixed reviews below, we had a great first time visit to this tea room yesterday. No queue but still busy, plenty of seating outside available and wonderful scones with jam and clotted cream. Even the coffee was served in proper coffee cups and saucers.

Quite a long queue ( as at most NT cafes ), but worth it. Excellent roasted pepper soup and Cornish Pasty. Lovely staff too. Very picturesque surroundings.

Not really sure what some people are expecting with some of the reviews. I think some forget that It’s a tea room for light refreshments not a Michelin star restaurant with full menu selection. There is tea, coffee and a selection of sandwiches, cakes and snacks in a beautiful location with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Perfect stop off after a nice walk. What’s not to like
